Poison fills my lungs;
this wretched fog clouding my heart;
the blood on my teeth doesn't seem mine,
yet these veins flow this alien liquid.
Every fibre yells a song I don't recall;
it instruments my fingers to shake,
but there's no winter to shiver,
nor rumbling earth but my own.
Dead nerves impulse a new action;
a ticking clock torments my conscience;
it's too late to stop the sparkling eyes.
Captivity is my fate;
I embrace this new birth
and show I'm not me anymore.
