shark's gut, online diary ♡ pt 3: movie weekend

DEAR DIARY! (๑>◡<๑)

gee sorry for not writing yesterday! i kinda forgot lol. . . . watevs! today was another boring day. i yesterday i watched Shock Treatment, from the creators of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Valerie and her Week of Wonders. today, i watched The Happiness of the Katakuris, and REPO! The Genetic Opera. 

SUPER ULTRA QUICK REVIEW!!!!!!!!! 

Shock Treatment: 8/10, very interesting visuals, catchy songs, difficult to understand tho.

Valerie: 9/10 im biased because of the religious trauma elements, extremely beautiful visuals, confusing as well but very interesting. big trigger warnings for implied and attempted SA and religious themes.

The Katakuris: 7/10 VERY SILLY!! the claymation parts threw me off at times but it grew on me, the songs are silly and fun as well and idk the colors were nice.

REPO: 10/10 activated something in my pea brain. im just a sucker for gorey dark musicals. the songs are amazing im extremely biased and crazy

I'm looking forward to other movies to watch! i'm thinking between Nosferatu and Tiger Stripes. i like to expand my movie knowledge :3 have you watched any of these? 

on another note, january's ending, so i shouuuuuld hear back from the job application i sent some weeks ago (,,>﹏<,,) i reeeeeeeeeeeeeally need the job so i hope they answer me! i dont wanna be a useless adult. i dont wanna go back home either... i dont know i dont wanna make it sound depressing but getting a job is basically the only objective i have right now... aahhh whatever! nevermind that ^_^

my partner's mom is here now so bleagh. at least we're going out tomorrow to hang with some friends yay! 

that'd be all from me today :3 i'll go eat the leftovers from today's lunch. we ate wok rice and chicken
