learning new things

i think that i'm actually going to spend my time learning how to use my sewing machine for once, but finding fabric and thread in boston is so hard, and not to mention having money for shit is hard too. i know i get paid much more and much better now, but i would like to finally just start sewing and fixing my own shit. i have two corset tops that don't fit me that i want to use a guide/pattern for my own corset top and i don't want to spend another couple hundred dollars on a day dress from selkie (as much as i love the brand).

i wish i could have utilized the pandemic like everyone else was able to and honed in my craft. i love to draw but i'm so tired of doing that and i want to do something else. i think i might experiment with crocheting again (i loved doing that in 2013) and i really just want to get started on using my sewing machine for once.

zach said that he would teach me the basics but it's so annoying that my thread keeps gathering/breaking any time i try to do anything with it. i don't think it's supposed to do that, but i guess it just fucking does that lol. i'm going to look into lil thread/fabric shops and see what i can scrounge up.

anyways, tank u for reading. ♡ you.
