Question To My Friend

Yo man what does love feel like, if you know.

Like could you describe it?

I don’t know the difference between real true love and the admiration and love that comes from interest

or from affection from someone’s attention.

If there even is a difference.

Or maybe I love everyone the same, and because of that I cannot distinguish romantic love, because all I do is love people for the attention they give me.

If there is no practical difference does the difference even matter

if it’s only internal?

That’s why I’m genuinely asking if you could describe the differences in love; The word rests fearfully on my tongue.

But its spills from my heart out my eyes onto the rug where i pray,

My forehead to the ground.

If loving is all I can do does it remove my love of purpose

I wish I knew the answer Amaan, but I'm trying to figure that out myself. If you ever figure it out, let me know, maybe we can guide each other.

i think there’s no practical reason. whether anyone has their own definition or reasoning or explanation of the concept, it doesn’t matter (in the most positive way) whether you can answer what love specifically feels like or is. its effects are still reverberating and rampant and continuous. i try to love unboundedly. i try. the answer is that there’s no point in questions like these, defining such a peculiar concept. i hope you’re well

I hope you're well too. Heal well, I miss you and the time we spent together. You've always been nothing but kind to me, and I expect nothing less from someone like you. Although we haven't spoken, I still keep you in the midst of my mind. I think of you whenever I think of the things you liked, which happen to be things I like as well. You're perfect, Amaan. I've never thought of you any less than that.
