First entry and thoughts on future blogging

I want to do some blog posts dedicated to my special interests here. I feel like I'm always in the mood to write something informational but I never get around to it, or I get way too neurotic about the accuracy of the information and saying things right and it gets so drawn out that it takes a long time to release.

But I'd love to make them-- maybe about paleontology, like good up-to-date information about dinosaurs, hopefully more niche ones and not just T. rex. I've been longing to do a comprehensive "Bird of the Week" type post for a while, where I give the basic run down on them and lots of fun facts. Honestly, the concept of just doing a "random fun fact" kind of blog post here and there is pretty appealing in itself. Or maybe just casual blogging sometimes, like deep thoughts about my life experiences.

There's no guarantee that I'll do any of this, although I'd really like to!
