Well. I believe this may be the first "blog" of this type I've made since 2008. I know that most users on here didn't get to experience the Myspace days, but let me tell you I sure did. I first made my account in spring of 2004 and it's so wild to be back 20 years later. Sorta.

You know what I mean.

Anyway, I'm sure my reason for using this site could be similar to yours. That's to say that I grew sick and tired of modern social media sites (and the internet for that matter), and found myself nostalgic for the "old days." No mindless scrolling and being advertised to constantly. Now I feel like an alien trapped in a world of zombies glued to their phones. That said, I've been social media free for a couple years now (if you've ever thought about it, do it). Coming to Spacehey technically breaks that streak, but whatever. This is something that I've missed - it's simple. I like this. So Spacehey is currently my only social media.

The best part of the old Myspace days imo were the music profiles. It's how my first band got its first exposure. So that's really why I'm here. I was able to do a lot these past two decades, so I intend to use this account with a primary focus on my music. Why? Well, I don't have much else I need to say. It's who I am, it's all I care about and this seems to be a good place for that.

I digress. It's nice to see a place on the internet where people appear to be a little more passionate. You will see me self-promoting here, and your support is greatly appreciated.
