like, obviously they're useful for diagnosing shit, but when it comes to making the person feel better and stop wanting to explode 24/7 i feel like they're just super useless bc like, you know they're like paid to do it, you know it's not genuine and they're just telling you stuff bc it's their job. when you talk abt stuff with friends you know it's genuine and it's people your age that are usually in a situation like the one you're in, most of the time.
so even if they dont know how brains work like therapists, it's much easier to talk to a friend abt shit. talking to therapists makes me feel like im giving some sort of confession like super formally and that just makes me want to jump off a bridge even more lmao
