Begrudgingly looking up a Vkei song's lyrics

There are only one of two results: the lyrics match the song's sound or now you can't look at the song the same anymore.

A good example for the latter result is Fuyu Tokyo by Lareine. A song anyone with no japanese comprehension skills could easily mistake for being about a beautiful romance or just something upbeat. Which is about unrequited love but the narrator would rather bare the pain of watching his crush love another, even if it meant she was happy.

"I'll console you, even as my love is now shattering to pieces."

Another surprise was Reila by The GazettE. Though from the sad melody itself, I could assume the meaning, however I truly wasn't prepared. If you want to check out the meaning, beware of the following two warnings: the song is fictitious (despite some spreading rumors due to ruki crying on stage when singing the song, people assumed it was about a late-girlfriend of the singer) and a warning for implied suicide/death of a loved one.

"Reila, open your eyes; Please smile at me and tell me it was all just a lie"

Due to the Vkei scene's nature, most of the songs tend to be about taboo subjects for those times, however it's still shocking when the lyrics don't match the melody, but even more when after finding out the meaning, you start to realize the melody actually perfectly encapsulates the lyrics.
