Emptiness, I remain.

In the quiet corners of a restless mind, A whispered echo, lost and undefined. The streets I walk, each one a winding maze, Alone in shadows, lost in a lonely daze.

Neon lights flicker, a city's distant hum, Yet in this crowd, I am the only one. Faces pass like fleeting ghosts in the night, Lost in the labyrinth of fading light.

Concrete canyons echo the silent plea, Of a soul adrift, a ship lost at sea. Footsteps echo in a desolate dance, A lonely heart yearns for a second chance.

Cityscape whispers secrets untold, Stories of dreams, of hearts grown cold. Alleys are memoirs of the lost and forlorn, In the city's embrace, a heart is torn.

Stars above, hidden by urban glow, Yet they witness a solitary shadow. Moonlight weaves through the tangled unknown, I'm a wanderer in a world I don't own.

The compass of my soul spins and turns, In the wilderness of the city, my spirit yearns. Lost in translation, my words unheard, A lonesome howl, a melancholy bird.

Echoes of laughter, distant and estranged, In this solitude, emotions deranged. Alone I stand, a solitary silhouette, A lost poet in a city's cruel duet.

In the quiet of midnight, I wear my despair, A cloak of shadows, heavy in the air. A soliloquy of silence, a ballad of pain, In the vast expanse of emptiness, I remain.
