I decided to start reading this book I got for Christmas and saw there were some questions I could answer before I began reading. I'll add the other set of questions that are for after reading the book.
Change:
Have you ever been stuck in a pattern of behavior that was negative, or needed to make a change in your life?
Yes, I have needed to do this quite a few times for the past 6 years of my life.
How did you break the pattern?
I will usually try to get myself out of my house for a few hours and do something more productive, like visiting a small store or getting myself a slushie at the corner store near my house. Sometimes, I'll try to draw or write my feelings out if the weather is bad.
Who helped you make the positive changes that you needed to make?
If I'll be honest; it's actually a few family members I won't talk about, but they do help me tremendously. I know I definitely wouldn't be alive without them.
Family:
How do you define family?
I define it not by blood, but by who makes you feel at home and safe. People who you know would never hurt you in any way.
What are the bonds that make up your family?
Idk how to answer this one but I can tell you I am close to two family members but neither of them is my mother for reasons I won't mention.
Who would you go to for help if you were in trouble?
I would most likely go to my aunt since I have done that before.
Talent:
What talents or abilities makes you unique?
I can draw one character decently, used to be able to read a book within a day of getting it, have way too much information about a certain individual (a very problematic and horrible person from old YouTube) and some true crimes cases, and also find a way to make two characters from different sources related (I've been meaning to do a blogpost about it but I keep putting it off).
What activities energize you or give you comfort during difficult times? What about those things inspire you?
I think most of the things listed in the answer from the previous question answered this question but for the second question, the true crime cases and having info about certain individuals help me seek answers about myself since I tend to get drawn to stuff about mental health and those who use it an excuse for their actions (if that makes sense).
