Chapter 1

Hello. My name is Clover. I am a spirit. A ghost, to put it simpler. I AM somewhat human…but I don’t have a soul. I don’t know, it’s complicated! And I don’t really feel like introducing myself that fast! Let’s just say I'm a spirit, who takes care of a village filled with little Ghosts…they’re my friends…my people! My precious ghosties! That’s all I'm gonna tell you about me for now!

Let’s dive into the story I'm about to tell…you see, I know MANY people in the living realm…And I have a demon friend that lives down there! His name is Vox Akuma. The Voice Demon! He’s pretty well known around the world for his hypnotizing, beautiful, smooth voice and his devilishly good looks! but unfortunately…something happened to him…his hunger for human souls got the best of him one night…and let’s just say that a whole bunch of shit went down. I don’t really know all of the details of what happened that night other than he transformed into his “other” form…I don’t really know what to call it.

One day. My phone rang while I was in the middle of a convo with a ghost. I answered “Hello?? Who is it?” I asked. I hear breathing coming from the other side “Clover? Is that you? It’s me. Vox.” Vox sighed. I could tell he was in some kind of distress… “Hey, Voxxy! Is…Everything alright?” I asked “No…I need somebody to talk to…” Vox said “Let me guess, you can’t go out because you’re scared you’ll consume an innocent human's soul and so you’re quarantined inside of your home?” I asked “Yeah…I haven’t spoken to anybody in DAYS…” Vox said. I sighed “Y’know…I can let you stay here. In the village.” I offered. I heard him gasp “B-But Clover! What if I consume your soul too!? What about your people!?” He asked frantically. He was in a panic. I laughed “I think you’ve forgotten that me and my people don’t have souls! We’re ghosts you goofball!” I chuckled. I could hear the relief he had over the phone. We were silent for about 5 seconds at least… “so, do you want me to come and pick you up?” I asked him. It took him a second to respond “Oh! Ahem…yeah…sure.” He said. I smiled warmly “Great! I’ll see you in a few!” I said. I hung up the phone. I ran off back home as quickly as possible!

“Clover, where are you going?” The ghost asked me “The living realm! I am bringing Vox over!” I exclaimed as I ran back to my home. The ghost nodded and floated away. Once I arrived at my residence, I hopped onto my cloud and started to float to the living realm!

When I finally made it, it was night time! I saw the beautiful lights in Vox’s town from above. They were so pretty! The cloud drifted down. Once I finally floated down to his home, I checked each window to see if I could spot him! Once I found the room he was in, I knocked on the window. It startled him for a moment! I could see his new wings shoot up with fear! It was kind of funny. He walked over “Damn…you got here quick!” He exclaimed “I know! Grab your stuff and hop on! There’s plenty of room!” I said. Patting on a spot next to me. “Won’t everything be…heavy? And me?” Vox asked “of course not! This cloud can support anything!” I exclaimed. I smiled warmly. Vox also smiled…it’s been a while since i’ve seen him smile like that. He picked up 2 bags and hopped onto the cloud! He nearly stumbled but luckily I caught his fall! His appearance was so different! He had wings, Longer hair, Horns…his eyes were completely pink too! And he got so much taller! 2 whole feet taller than me! He was kind of pretty. The cloud took off to the sky and we were off back to my realm! It was silent for a while…until I finally spoke

“So…how do you feel?” I asked “The whole transformation thing looked like it hurt…” I said. He nodded. I didn’t know what else to say so I looked at whatever was around me. “Look at the moon Vox!” I exclaimed. He looked over. The moon was bright, big and illuminated the sky! “Isn’t it beautiful? I think it is…I remember when one of the smaller ghosts told me that someday they would like to go to the moon!” I chuckled. He chuckled a bit “Yeah…I guess it is beautiful…” Vox sighed. I smiled at him and he smiled back! After that shit nearly got awkward until we finally made it back to my realm and to my village! I helped him off of the cloud and helped with his bags. When we were about to enter my home, I felt something touch my face “Clover!” Somebody exclaimed. I looked over. One of my ghost friends was hugging my face! “Ahaha! Fate! Stop…that tickles!” I said. This is my Ghostie friend. Fate…Fate was the first ever ghost I met here! I looked over at Vox, who was about to open the door until I had my little run-in with Fate. “Vox, This is Fate! I don’t remember if you met her before! She’s my best friend!” I said. Fate waved, and Vox didn’t really say anything. But he did smile! After a bit of chatting, Fate finally ran off and me and Vox entered my home.
