it's cold and i'm tired, my body is giving out, so i can't move like i used to. i sleep more than is usual, but rest less than i need. my time is running out and, of course, i can't do everything, i can't do anything, as i've always been worse than people wanted me to be. a secret that tried staying hidden for as long as possible has been revealing itself slowly and surely. i can't find it in me to go further even tho i'm nowhere near to where it is demanded i reach. i don't know what to do despite knowing exactly what i should do. the biting wind blows smoke and dirt onto me and there is no fire to clean it anymore.
the first 12 months of the year are always the hardest
