Today my friend and I went to Hot Topic and Spencer's (we were going to go to a geocache to drop off some zines too but we ended up not having time). Here's the haul:
The tarot cards were definitely the most impulse buy of them all, but I felt drawn to the illustrations and thought it might be nice to try experimenting with another deck. I'm definitely going to try and cleanse it in some way before using it first. I'm less on the side of strong belief in the spiritual elements of tarot but I feel like the idea of cleansing it is soothing to me :]
There are definitely some elements of this deck that have aged worse than others since it was drawn in the 1920s or so, and I think the outlines are a little extravagant and extra for me—previously, I've just been using Tillie Walden's Cosmic Slumber Tarot and view that as my personal deck that I connect with—but I'd like to start doing readings for friends at some point, particularly once I get better with memorizing the card meanings.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I remember when I was in Girl Scouts we did a lot of geocaching, brings back some really great memories. I’ve never thought of putting handmade things/art into any caches but that sounds so honestly beautiful.
