losing weight...

hey all,

today i have finally (and comfortably), made it to 170 lbs (or 77 kg). this year, i want to make it to 160 lbs (or 72 kg). although i am doing a lot of this during the new year, i did not make it a new years resolution because overall, this is something that i have been doing before the new year even came around.

i realized that even when i just workout, diet is a much more important factor to pay attention to. what we put in is what we get out and although i am learning that the hard way, it is so rewarding. at the same time, i feel like i am getting impatient due to my goal weight being just around the corner. that being said, i am consistently losing 1-2 lbs (or 0.4 - 0.9 kg) a week which i feel is a steady pace.

what are some goals that you all have? what is it about yourself that you want to work on? given that i am 5'8, do you think i can potentially go to 150 lbs (or 68 kg)?

Just keep in mind that muscles weights more than fat. So if you work out and eat healthy and still gain weight, it's not "negative" weight in form of fat, but "positive" weight in form of muscles.

oh absolutely, i am definitely losing more fat though as a result of my consistent diet. its a nice thing to be reminded of though!!
