TW // mention of bullying, death?
Not sure what caused me to have such gruesome dream? Maybe it was the chocolate I had at 2am before bed but it was pretty... scary? Anyways, as always my dreams always take place in school settings, mind you I just turned 25 a couple of days ago and graduated back in 2016 but for some odd reason I ALWAYS dream about being at school? (Anyone who does dream interpretation please help me out on why that is lol?)
The people involved was the group of friends I use to hang out with in high school who I no longer talk to, one of the girls use to be my best friend even after we graduated but we are no longer friends (That might be a story for another time.) we are going to call her K.
It looked like in my dream, K and I were pretty awkward with each other at first my guess we weren't no longer friends in my dream but I was trying to make the friendship work again but at first I didn't have any luck.
K and I had mutual friends, we are going to name them T and H.
It looked like we were in high school but the weird thing was the the school was divided by the "higher" class and the "lower" class, meaning the rich kids were on top of the poor kids.
In real life our friend T was considered a "rich" kid because she had a nice home in a gated community and I never really asked but I am assuming both her parents had good jobs so I think we can all guess what class she was considered in my dream.
K, H and I (along with the rest of our friend group because it was like 7 of us in total but they aren't really that important in my dream lol) were considered the "poor" kids.
Unfortunately though we were treated so badly just because of our social status (can you believe that? In 2021?!?! *eye roll*) so it felt like we were living in hell and a lot of us "poor" kids were getting bullied by the "rich" kids, the teachers, counselors, the principal, YOU NAME IT were allowing it! As a matter a fact they praticipated in the bullying and all because the damn rich was putting good money into the school.
But it wasn't all that bad, some of the 'rich" kids actually thought it was unfair that their "poor" friends were being treated unfairly just by their social status, T being one of them although later we find out that her parents were the ones who were running the school board and putting in most of the money. (pretty fcked up huh?)
So this is were it gets CRAZIER! Prom is around the corner and everyone, I mean EVERYONE was very excited but sadly the "poor" kids, as always being treated unfairly and they didn't want any of us to go to prom.
At this point, the few who were tired of this treatment decided that we finally had enough so we come up with a plan to rebel agaisnt the school and the rules.
From here on out the dream is kind of a blur to me but what I remember was running away with K from the principal? and we somehow ended up in a highway (lol?) as we ran for our dear life trying to catch up with our friend group.
At this point I was making sure K and I were together at all times and made sure that she was safe and didn't leave my side but somehow she ended up leaving ME behind and I was stuck on my own still running on this highway until the rest of my friends saw me, while they were running away on the opposite side of the highway.
All of them were trying to get me to join them but it was difficult at this point because of the passing cars. Until we all stopped running and decided that we will wait for the chance where I could run across the highway to get to them when there wasn't any passing cars.
When the moment finally came I tried to run as fast as I could but I ended up freezing in the middle of the highway and there was this big truck heading my way and it was coming fast!! Until somehow T managed to get a four wheeler? (That was so random idk) to try to save me but as she got closer to me the truck purposely shifted towards her direction and HIT her! Sending her flying and that's were it got so gruesome for me? Like I can't even begin to explain the horrid scene I had witnessed and if I could, I don't think that I want to because it was just so scary.
Anyways at this point I somehow managed to make it out of there alive and safe but I couldn't say the same thing for T. We all thought she was dead.
I remember crying and blaming myself for what had happened to her since she was trying to save me but that didn't stop us from rebeling agaisnt the school (lol)
This is where it gets blurry for me again but I recall calling K and asking her if she heard about what had happened to T and we both cry on the phone (as if she didn’t leave me behind the day before lol)
The day of prom finally comes around and we are getting ready to crush prom night when suddenly T resurrects from the dead and I just remember crying and hugging her and apologizing to her but not questioning how a dead girls suddenly turned out to be alive (LOL)
Something else happens but it is, once again a blur to me before I wake up.
Now I know I said it was grusesome and scary, because it was BUT reading it out loud as I typed it, I couldn't help but to laugh now realizing how wild the dream was and honestly this is just one of many of the weirdest dreams I've ever had (most of them are about my favorite kpop idols!) lol.
So yeah that was my dream last night. I don't know how some of you will react or feel about it after reading it but I hope you laughed a little haha.
Remember it was just a dream. I don't or can't control what I dream about.
