I saw you

I saw you in the hallway today. I wanted to run up to you and tell you goodbye!

But I just couldn't do it, because I felt I might die.

My eyes were burning with tears and the words died in my mouth.

I wanted to tell you that'll I'll miss and love you.

Just like I always do.

But I just turned around and left you behind.

Because I would've never gathered the courage to leave if you have just gave me one sign.

I didn't say a word. I gave up that day.

I know I would never leave if you told me to stay.

I felt my heart shatter because I know you and me

will never be.
