A lonely detective

It would seem that I am the best detective in this city, and everyone sees that I have searched and gone to the civil guard, day after day, for no apparent reason, but I have already given up when I found out that the murderer i was searching for all these weeks, he was not in the city, or even in the country. Hopes were low, but some news left me perplexed. Philmore Marnhald was looking for a detective, a partner, to solve an abrupt mystery, the Busqued case.

The Busqueds were the most important family in Argentina, Mr. Busqued was the owner of most of the trains that left for neighboring countries, and Mrs. Busqued was the administrator of a textile industry. Two weeks before they disappeared, the Busqueds' eldest son, Fenix Lake Busqued, mysteriously disappeared after an argument with his parents.

This is not private information, otherwise this story is public knowledge. And I was surprised that Mr. Marnharld, Argentina's star detective par excellence, was looking for a partner. We are figuratively speaking of the only pilot with 30 years of experience wanting a partner with 2 years of piloting experience. Every time I looked at the news in the newspaper, he raised an eyebrow, he didn't believe such an advertisement. It was a mismatch, obviously I've never finished a report, I wasn't going to sign up to be his "partner", I felt like it was a trap.
