- ebay is your friend, depop/etsy/etc is more like a magazine to figure out what options you have and what range of prices are on the market--> almost anything cool and vintage you found on depop/etsy you can find on ebay for cheaper (also depop and etsy both have notoriously bad seller fees)
- THIS DOES NOT include handmade objects or art or new clothing! use your common sense and watch out for dropshippers, support small businesses when you can
- make a list of vintage brands you tend to like, even for stuff like decorative objects and furniture
- ebay is also cool because you can find things in lots and in non working condition for cheap --> so if you want things for decorative purposes (eg. ive had some art projects) that can be a good option!
- into vintage stuff from a different country? find out what platforms people use there! use a proxy shipping service to get on there
- this will also give you a better sense of prices and rarity when youre going vintage shopping in person! of course, take into account of time and effort it takes for small sellers to find refurbish and sell these items
- check those shipping prices!!!
