TAPERS - 5

ARCHIVE OF SUMMARY 5

SUMMARY 5, CHAPTER 5.

TAPERS (thrompd.hinchy.co/tapers/)

Hello! My name is Peter/Dave/Hoonis, this is a summary of Chapter 3 of Tony Domenico's "Tapers". Tapers has strong themes such as, IMPLIED Pedophilia, Abduction, Strong themes, Murder, and the ending is disturbing.

We start off with Care being in what seemed like a classroom, a chalkboard ahead of her with some words on it and a partly finished drawing. The chalkboard hadn’t been used in a bit, and wasn’t erased. Some of the stuff on the board was noticeable, like “another”, “begin”, “add”, “for”, and my favorite word, “Supe”.

Care observes the classroom's old classroom theme, noticing things that were older, and things that were newer(such as a rotten apple), and a closet with small school desks along with their seats. Speaking of seats, she was sitting on a seat exactly like the one in the closet.

She was tied to that seat with rope.

Outside of this classroom, she hears a number of “quiet but intimidating footsteps”, they were approaching the classroom she was in. She rocked back and forth in her chair, she couldn’t really hop out of the rope either due to the chair being fucking glued to the ground, thus no escape for her.

The door-knob started to turn, which made Care’s thoughts wonder, wonder and wonder she did. The knob ended up stopping, to which Care called out “Hello?” without the control of her voice.

Immediately, the door flew open! In came a man with a horrifying smile spread across his face, like this was the best and worst day of his life, hiding his sadness with a smile, the joy was absolutely uncontrollable and it looked as if it was going to explode out of him.

He looked eager, too eager for her taste. He looked towards Care, with his mouth open as if he were going to yell, and he did.
“Yeah!”
He held his arms open as if he was waiting for an embrace. Care tried to scream, but it just never came out, so she had to sit there and stare. He walked closer to her, looking for something to say as he approached her.
“This is my life!” he basically screamed at her, but then looked around awkwardly. “Hello, kid.”

Care said nothing.

He wanted to wait for a response, at first, but grew impatient. He gave up waiting for a response.
“No.” he began. “Who are you?”
He continued to look around from the room awkwardly, in fact, Care looked like she was about to cry.
Marvin smiled more, shaking his head, then held the back of Cares' chair.
He knew that it wouldn’t do at all, so he introduces himself as Marvin, then asks Care to introduce herself.
Care never did.

Marvin becomes impatient, wanting to explode from such impatience. He screams at her to say hello, and shakes the chair, but still nothing happens. Care believes this was one of her many dreams, wanting it to be a dream.

Marvin, full of anger, grabs Cares head and shakes it as hard as he could. He had extreme anger issues, and yet his mind would try to prevent such things. It worked, usually, but then didn’t.

Marvin’s anger issues show a lot about him in this chapter, that he will probably explode if he doesn’t get his way. He truly believes that nothing is wrong here, and even says that. He is in his own little world, and Care is a part of it. If you cannot tell, Marvin is suffering from some sort of illness that makes him believe that he is doing nothing wrong.

Marvin, of course, disregarding anything in the world, grabs an object (messing up previously, misgrabing other items.) This item is revealed to be a syringe, it was blue. Marvinn, holding this, turns to Care and greets her.
Care gulps.

Marvin asks Care what her favorite color is, but in the end due to no answer from Care assumes that it is orange. Afterall, Marvin’s favorite color is orange too. He felt wonders, talking to Care like such, he felt as if this was parenting.

Well, this parenting turned sour, as Marvin then injects the serum into Care’s arm. Care screams, which then turns into a cry. He stops, pulling bandages out of his pocket, and tries his best not to look at the blood (as this is considered one of his weaknesses.). He feels better after the bandage is applied, and leaves the room.

Care is seemingly processing this, and all we get out of her processed states is that she hates the color orange.

WOW! OKAY! This took me a lot of time to write, sorry if it’s not the best, my writing style changed quiiiite a bit. If you have any questions, send me an IM or comment!
