Another day, another book reveal

Every day I will be posting a new part of my book until I run out of content because currently I have just started the first chapter.

Normal Roles:

Leader: Leads their Clan, their suffix is “star” They make the final decision on things and have nine lives

Deputy: Is chosen by the leader, becomes leader when the leader dies, sets up patrols

Medicine cat: Is chosen by StarClan as an apprentice and knows how to use herbs to heal their clan

Medicine cat apprentice: Is chosen by StarClan and is trained to become a full medicine cat

Elder: An old, wise cat that has spent many moons fighting for their clan and has retired. They are cared for.

Warrior: Knows how to fight and hunt, mentors apprentices

Apprentice: They get a mentor who is a warrior and learn how to fight and hunt

Kit: They play around and aren’t allowed out of camp until they become apprentices at six moons old

Extra/New Roles:

Messenger: You must be reasonably fast for this job. They go across territories to deliver messages. (ex. delivering a message that the Clan needs help in a battle. You need to be a warrior or an older apprentice to do this job. Other than this job they are a normal warrior/apprentice

Therapy cat/Mediator: There is one of these cats in each of the Clans and one that used to be a loner and now travels between Clans so they don’t belong to any clan. This cat has to be easy to talk to and will not reveal ANY secrets. If a Clan cat is with a cat from another Clan and they tell the therapy cat then the therapy cat will not tell ANYONE. Therapy cats/Mediators are NOT allowed to have kits or mates and they learn how to be a warrior as an apprentice, but they help the elders, the queens, the medicine cat, and tidy up camp as a warrior.

Teacher: The elders in a clan are teachers. They teach the kits about the warrior code and why it is in place so that everything is clear. They also teach the kits about the other clans and cats that are legends.

Storyline:

The forest is changing. Twolegs are tearing through the territories, leaving destruction in their wake. The Clans must adapt and survive, or risk losing everything they hold dear. Rosepaw of CinderClan is about to embark on a journey that will test her strength and loyalty to her Clan. As the thunderpath threatens to consume their home, Rosepaw must navigate the challenges of her own life while fighting to protect her Clan and the warrior code they live by. Will the Clans be able to withstand the upheaval, or will they be forced to flee the only home they've ever known?

The timeline for this book is 50 years (200 seasons, 600 moons) after the series “A Starless Clan”
