Hot Chocolate Cookies

Dear "Life as a Teenager" viewers,

During the beautiful season of winter, I embark on the adventure of baking each weekend. Usually, I bake something different each time, however, there is something I've been baking over and over again. Hot Chocolate Cookies. Oh yes, imagine your favorite drink but as a cookie. I came across this recipe on Pinterest but I've tweaked it a little bit. If you wish to indulge in the greatest savory taste of your life, take a look:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of soft butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 teaspoon salt
  • Mini marshmallow bits (preferred amount)
  • Mini chocolate chips (preferred amount)

Instructions:

  • Preheat over to 350F
  • Combine butter and sugar until fluffy
  • Add in eggs and vanilla
  • Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
  • Beat the dry mixture into the wet mixture
  • Fold in mini marshmallows and mini chocolate chips
  • Bake for about 12 minutes

I hope you all enjoy this cookie recipe during this winter season just as much as I do!

Until next time,

Viola Black

xoxo
