Snowpocolypse/Snowmageddon 2024

"> Kansas is pretty much closed today. I70 is closed from the Colorado/Kansas state line to Salina, which is almost the middle point of Kansas. It is a huge blizzard, and my car is almost buried beneath the snow. Schools and businesses are closed. Only thing open are the hospitals and motels. My 4-year-old thinks of it as fun. I'm kind of halfway between fun and not fun. My mom is all out NOT fun. The power keeps flickering. Back in 2007, we had a horrible ice storm that left us without power for almost a month. She's worried that it's going to happen again. The wind is blowing super hard. You seriously can't even see across the street. We are in "white out" conditions. Luckily, I don't work right now, and mom works across the street at the hospital, so we don't have very far to go. 

Hope everyone else dealing with this situation is being safe and the people with the severe weather and tornados are being safe as well. <3
