favorite albums #1 silver by the wrens

I don't really kno what I'm doing with this but right now I kinda want to blog about my favorite bands/albums ✨ so for today I'm gonna talk about Silver by the wrens. the wrens are an indie rock band from new jersey that consisted of four members, Kevin and Greg Whelan, Charles Bissell and Jerry MacDonnell I don't often hear anything about the wrens usually but they are one of the best bands to come out of the 90s and 2000s most known for their 2003 album meadowlands. if you like indie rock I'd def give them a shot :D

Silver(1994) is their first album, it has 23 songs and is around an hour and 10 minutes. the opening song propane is a slow and chilling opener that legit gave me and my friend goosebumps when we heard it for the first time. Right after that nice slow open they bring up the energy immediately with the next song Napiers. Lots of the album is high energy but also at times has a really melancholy feeling to it and in my opinion it works really well. the singers Kevin and Charles both have very interesting voices I cant even describe. 

I don't know if anyone will read this but I plan on doing more of these album reviews in the future. hopefully later on I'll do them a little more in depth, this one was just to get me started. have i nice day <3
