My first blog using Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 16

Well I finally did it. I'm no longer on the Apple Computer I'm back on Windows. I've not used Windows since Windows XP said being back on Windows is very weird for me where I have a disability called cerebral palsy and I'm not able to physically type with my hands. I was had to use program called Dragon NaturallySpeaking. For those of you that have not heard of it before you speak into a microphone headset and it types out the words that you are saying and then the words appear on the screen like I'm doing now. I used to be very involved with the program years ago I had contacts within the company called Nuance that developed the software but unfortunately a few years ago, Microsoft bought out the company. I don't know how much longer the software will be available, but they've definitely made it more expensive. It used to be around $400 now for the program. It is $700, but that's the main reason I switched back to Windows PC because I really need this program to be able to communicate a few years ago Nuance actually bought a speech software called MacSpeech Dictate and then they eventually turn that into DragonDictate which DragonDictate was not as good as Dragon NaturallySpeaking which is the Windows equivalent of the program. It had so many problems. Some about the time Microsoft was getting ready to buy Nuance Nuance discontinued Dragon for Mac which left me typing with one finger. I tried voice control on the Mac, but it was terrible. It would never respond or do things correctly. As it was expected to its built into. The Mac today and it's absolutely horrible. So I had enough to where I had to switch back to Windows to have Dragon NaturallySpeaking and of course chicken run Windows on a Mac with parallels but I didn't want to do that. I remember when I first had Dragon NaturallySpeaking that would actually send you a physical disk. Then a few years later, much later they used to offer two options Dragon over thumb drive or you could just physically, the program now it's just physically downloading the program after you have paid for it. I actually had to pay a computer Place to put it on a thumb drive for me because my Internet is just too slow to develop a program and I didn't want to go through that headache anyways plan to have this program back!
