FAFSA Madness!!!

Last year (more like last month lol) I decided to do my FAFSA ahead of the curve, but then right after I finished doing it, they announced that they were changing EVERYTHING about the FAFSA. So now I have to go and re-do all of it. It's pretty simple since I have most of my information already down, but what's bugging me is that it always wants my mom and dad to manually put in all of their tax information, which is just so tedious.

And school literally starts so soon as well, I'm worried that I won't be able to complete this FAFSA before the semester truly begins, but if that happens I suppose I could just talk with my advisors about how I missed my chance or something. This new school that I am attending is a lot better than my old one, they haven't lost my paper work once though there was this annoying stint where I had to go and ask my old highschool and community college advisors to send my transcripts through some kind of app I've never heard of.

I swear, apps nowadays have kind of completely ruined shit because not everything needs an app. Taxes have apps, jobs want you to download such and such to hear back from them, and now there's apps that advisors have to download just to send in student Transcripts! I even looked on the website to see if I could possibly mail it to them or something, but a lot of colleges are using covid as an excuse for why they no longer want to do in-person visits lol.

My last community college strictly used zoom, and you have to wait HOURS in a long long waiting room thats digital just to speak with your advisor about something that will probably just take like 5 seconds. It would be so much better if the advisors had like, I don't know, a FAQ section on the college website which would save people a lot of time. Instead I have to wait like 4 hours just to speak. I play a lot of video games in that time waiting.
