Apparently some people think of the word femboy as a porn term and then some people think of it as a tiktok term and because of this femboy doesn't mean feminine boy anymore....
Like femboy means white guys in thigh highs that may or may not infantalize themselves (kinda like a male version of belle delphine) and not just guys with feminine traits....

if someone says its a porn term they are repeating project 2025 rhetoric that deems anything ay queer or trans to be obscene and pornographic
femboy is a term used to describe gender non conforming people and it was associated with egirls when shadman had popularized them with comics and 2016 shock culture created memes with anime characters like astolfo.
the internet is more associated with meme culture in 2016 than trans identify and queer self expression so this is what NON gender non conforming people see the community as. this is also where the "femboys aren't gay" meme started, from outside the femboy community and adopted by newcomers (a lot of closeted and transphobic trans women at that time who have came out since, the "puppy/catgirl" meme)
