Wow I'm old but....

It is shocking to me how many memories came flooding back to me when I saw this format back up and running! The way we use the internet these days seem so impersonal and detached from these insanely unique pages we use to create. I remember when I first transferred over to using FB that the lack of customizable parts for it's layout made me think that it would be replaced by something better within a couple years max. The fact that it has become the platform to model after and that MyYearBook and the OG MySpace changed their fun and unique styles to emulate a screen with no personality at all and that was more set up for business networking then any kind of socializing is beyond my comprehension. It's just like how McDonalds use to have a fun and cheerful atmosphere but has been taken over by depression and fear of color along with the 90's kids it's severed. Did you know most of the employees that work at a MD now don't even know the characters that use to be the face of the brand!? I'm not sure why the world (USA is my realm of experience) seems to think that fun isn't something to be ok with anymore. Maybe fun will come back into fashion some time soon, make it a bit more tolerable.
