tbh the good ending for hollow knight is my least favourite one because it seems to take influence from dark souls 1's endings yet completely misses the point

smfh the entire point of the first dark souls game's endings was that saving the world was the wrong choice because their world's rot was inevitable and you were just a tool used to prolong the natural course of things. I like HK but the way its endings are so morally black and white takes away a lot of the impact for me.
