hiiiiiii !!! i'm sissy, and recently I've been bored over break ><
if anyone is a fellow book worm, please give me some recs for books
genres I like: romance, thriller, psychological horror, dark fantasy
books that have unexpected twists and endings are definitely my favorite, bittersweet endings, and dark fantasy with a hint of romance.
some of my favorite books are: the cruel prince, a discovery of witches, heaven official's blessing, of mice and men, American psycho, crime and punishment, the secret history, the picture of dorian gray

hm im not sure if they massively fit into your genres but i quite liked the six of crows duology and the king of scars duology by leigh bardugo. theyve got their flaws but overall theyre pretty fun fantasy books with nice character-driven plots.
also been reading parts of the handmaids tale. obviously its not for everyone but its a brilliant book even if it does deal with some nasty subject matter. same goes for 1984 (DEFINETELY FLAWED but ohhh man i really enjoyed it) metamorphosis by kafka is a quick read too and honestly a really nice metaphor for mental illness and the isolation and ostracisation it can come with
