SNAKE LORE FRAGMENTS + MISC, BUT RELATED, INFO

A brief introduction to Snake 

Snake is a 20, nearly 21 yo man with RDIH (will be explained later!!!) and autism 

- Full name ; Snake Terror

- May 6th is his birthday! (both canonically and creation date wise)

- He is infact a criminal

- He was born in southern US, moved back to his parents homeland, Adara (will be explained later)

- yes, he is a vampire

snake has various disorders and illnesses (like us!) 

the main ones are ptsd, autism, and ied

he got this weird infection thing that made his eye itch constantly, so he'd rub that eye all the time. the itching got worse over time and eventually started irritating snake to the point where he tried clawing it out because it was too much. it became infected and he had worn an eyepatch over that eye for awhile

I'm adjusting Snake's lore again, each person he killed had different deaths

So far Juniper was dipped in acid or something that would've 3rd degree burned skin & fur*

* correction, a bunch of over-the-counter cleaning chemicals that react certain ways to other chemicals

After leaving Juniper's corpse behind the garage he was killed in, Snake waited for Napoleon to come home from work and ambushed him. He took them into the garage after a fist fight and strapped him to a table with electrical cords — tight enough to cut off circulation while Snake looked for something he could use to cut Napoleon in half

Before we completely changed his identity to be cisgender, it was because his adoptive family (Father, 2 brothers, and mother (however her death was for a different reason)) were discriminating him for transitioning

Now it's for all the abuse they gave him while raising them in said household, excluding the mother. He killed her because she didn't want her to suffer with the pain of Snake being gone considering she had been the one who was protecting Snake from harm whenever she wasn't working. She died in the house fire when Snake had committed an act of arson with Ash

Ash is one of Snake's friends from elementary, at the time of his murderous tendencies they were in freshman year

Melani was friends with Snake before Ash (as a werebeast?? beastman??: Melani is a literal cat-fish, ash is a three-eyed grey cat/dog)

Snake is in a band called "So Sorry", he is the bassist and lead singer.

melani and snake are like

best friends to put it simply; they do a lot together and kind of just have a strong bond to the point where people think they're dating when they're not. snake's only with two people (clem & citrus, i think it's canon outside of another world??)

funfact, ash and snake have committed arson together as revenge to snake's adoptive household

even though snake had already killed off the two (*three) people who treated him the worst

the only person from that family that remains is the mother (* outdated, shes also dead), arkan, and zamor

the dad, juniper, and napoleon are all dead. HOWEVER juniper and napo were brought back into the world by snake's rituals and are now basically zombies/ghosts. they fall under zombies more than ghosts, despite being able to phase through things. however they cant use that ability to defend themselves from physical harm

snake and melani's bond had lead to them sneaking out together in their younger years to do graffity in those weird car lot buildings?? i have no idea what theyre called tbh. and not only that, but to do weed, especially on lower than average days but that's not really an important plotpoint aside from distracting snake from unhealed trauma

however that was snake's teenage years as he's a young adult now who lives in the capital city of the country he lives in who owns a shop and is coping in a healthy way

also snake's shop is one of those buildings you see downtown that have an apartment on top of the shop

he doesn't really sell normal things, more like stuff he's collected or made over the years

old guitars, cassette tapes, rocks, crystals, keychains, sweaters, the list is endless honestly. he restocks easily since he does have a storage unit somewhere with all the shit he never got rid of

and he buys guitars often just to paint them or generally deck them out so they look flashy

he also has a hobby of crocheting and generally working with fabric, yarn, etc

i guess he'd be considered a seamstress or whatever

"Who is Cherry?"

Cherry, also known as Cherry JB Terror, is Snake's biological brother. He's a 17 y/o trans guy

- He lives out in the mountainous area (tezi, will be explained later!!) with their parents

'Relative Death Inheritance' or RDIH. 

It's a rare sickness that occurs after a family member or friend passes on. The person who is affected by this sickness will get a pair of horns or a halo or both. The horns only come from their relative dying unnaturally (murder and such) and the halo will come from their relative dying naturally (old age and such)

There are symptoms/signs for RDIH and side effects such as 

Constant headaches

Paranoia 

More aggressive/violent

Tendency to avoid people who they were close to

Exhaustion is almost always visible

Less interested in doing day to day activities

Although there isn't a treatment, there is a medication being worked on to lessen the effects. 

The horns/halo don't appear instantly; it takes awhile for it to be fully visible. (This is a concept similar to the trauma saturation concept in sparklecare but this was an idea prompted way before I even knew about SCH)

This made-up country is mixed with traditional and modern society, a religion of its own. 

the rough concept of it;;

Tei is the goddess of Adara. She does most of the work relating to death, which in those who believe in the traditional religion, Iethen, would be considered top layer of the 3 layers. Middle layer work is 'guide and answer'. Xare works with middle layer, he tries to answer those who pray for help and answers. He is also considered a balance between the high and low layers, balancer of peace and chaos. Zeira is the lower part deity. Chaos is all she wanted to bring to the world, the other gods despise her for it. Zeira also works with death but for those who've wronged people and must give them severe afterlife consequences.
