The difference between living and Surviving is like day and night.
In the world, there are those that live their life to the very end without a twinkle of regret, and there are those that are forced to survive, regretting every day of their life ever since they became aware of themselves and the world.
When you're living, you can feel the soft breeze across your skin, the warm sun caressing your skin, the soft laughter of children and the chipper of birds. Your mind is closed off to the evils of the world, ears deafened to the earsplitting cries of people crawling on the ground of sorrows that seem to swallow their entire being. When you're living, everyday is a new day, a new opportunity a new chance at life, a new every, everythings new, life is bright, the sun is smiling and everything is colorful, a dream, a fantasy unreal to the other half surviving each day, praying, crying, aching, to escape the pain of the black and white world they seem to live in. Their eyes are lifeless, they joy of living sucked away from them by the very earth they live in. Their ears are filled with the screams and cries of the suffering around them, everyday blends together, nothings new, nothing at all. They try to free themselves of the hole they're in, but the harder they try the deeper they fall in. What's the difference between these two people? What exactly differentiates these two individuals living on the same earth? Nothing, but somehow, everything.
