what i listened to

I love music :3 and I don't have any particular genre I listen because I flit around genres a lot. i get confused about genres myself, ion really like to label stuff cuz my music taste is like: as long as I think a song is neat, no matter what the vibe is, I'll like it.

When I was in my elementary, I was into music that you can see in yt playlists with the title "pov you were the weird kid". The Living Tombstone, DA Games, etc. the music you'd see in fandom spaces. until now i still love them, they're hella catchy and iconic and they occupied my mind everyday. really shaped my childhood. i also love vgm, which was awakened by Toby Fox ngl. the Undertale soundtrack is timeless

then highschool was a lot more complex, i was into musicals (The Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein, Cats, etc.), and i still enjoy them so that counts me as a theatre kid too xD. i loved andrew lloyd webber's and stephen soundheim's music. i also had a phase where i religiously listened to ukulele songs a lot (conan gray, Dodie, cavetown, chloe moriondo) it was a fun. oh and also i also had a creepypasta phase, which made me listen to Madame Macabre, Get Scared, etc.

most of my music was mostly in the indie/alt spaces, really. i was into lana (I <3 Norman Rockwell!!), mother mother, weezer, gorillaz, mitski, tv girl, bôa etc. etc. it's all over the place xD  i had a melanie Martinez phase when k-12 just got released; it feels so long ago now. in the later years i also got a massive mcr phase just WEEKS before they announced their return. it was lucky of me to not have to wait years for their comeback xD

Rammstein, Ghost, and Sleep Token I listened to a lot during the pandemic. then after that, i got in a band just last year and the local music scene influenced my music taste recently too! nirvana! Radiohead! deftones, kittie, korn, soad—i love numetal very much!!! Sleeping with sirens, Pierce the Veil—these are very recent and I would crumble to the floor listening to them. Slowdive and title fight make me ascend. rn I'm also obsessed with the likes of The Cranberries, The Sundays, Sixpence None The Richer. I love music and I can't go a day without it xD comment if we've got something in common!
