Two days from today will make a whole month since I married my best friend. Sadly, 4 days after we got married, he left out for work. He has been gone ever since. He is scheduled to come home on our 1 month anniversary, and I honestly couldn't be happier! I have missed him. The kids and I hate when he isn't here.
He will be home for about 3 days before leaving again to go to the family hunting camp for a few days. Deer hunting has always been a passion of his, and he doesn't get alot of time to go anymore because he works so hard to support our family. Because he is such a hard worker and so dedicated to taking care of us, I enjoy being able to give back and let him go enjoy his guy time.
He will be home from the camp just in time for Thanksgiving. We have a small get together planned for that evening. Nothing special, just some finger foods and games.
The big dinner will be Saturday. Our first Thanksgiving in our new home, not to mention our first holiday as a married couple, and we are making dinner for 15+ people. Totally excited and nervous about that.
Pray for me that everything goes smooth y'all! I'm definitely gonna need it!!
