Priscilla (2023)

personally, i think Priscilla was a great movie and was probably better than Elvis. sofia coppola is an incredible director who actually did the story of priscilla presley justice instead of treating her like just another female character. each detail of this movie was carefully thought out, from the fashion choices to priscilla’s iconic makeup. coppola made the watchers understand just how much of a creep elvis was and how young and naive priscilla was. priscilla was just 14 when a friend of elvis introduced them, searching for a young girl elvis would like. elvis continually led priscilla on, keeping her by his side when he wasn’t by hers. by the time elvis and priscilla began to have problems, it was clear that priscilla was no longer under his control. she changed herself back to the priscilla she knew, not the one elvis made. this movie was incredible and i would 100% watch it again.
