Ticking love bomb (poem)

Her heart bloomed, petals unfurled,

In the presence of a love that seemed to twirl.

But beneath his charming guise, shadows swirled,

A love that consumed, shattered and hurled.

He wove promises with tender lies,

Whispering sweet nothings, truth's disguise.

Her spirit crumbled, piece by piece,

As his love turned toxic, seeking to feast.

She danced on their memories of laughter and glee,

Unaware of the chains that soon would decree.

Her mind, once vibrant, now trapped in his snare,

As his love bomb exploded, leaving her bare.
