Notice how ur only called cringe when ur having fun? Notice how hobbiez are called cringe?
Being called cringe nowadayz iz basically "ur having fun and i dont like it".
Bullying is never called cringe, rudeness is never called cringe, racism is never called cringe, homophobia is never called cringe.
U will only b called cringe if u are enjoying ur own life and being happy. U will never be called cringe if ur juzt projecting and being mean 2 otherz.

I think the term "cringe" should be reserved only for people who are genuinely (and objectively) harmfull like transphobes, homophobes, racists, antisemists, and every other type of bigot plus the people who shout "cringe" at harmless stuff themselves
because people think calling minorities slurs is totally fine and moral but GOD FORBID this persons likes to dress up as their favorite character :/
Doesn't help either that most people who were (and still are) targetted by cringe culture are neurodivergent and/or queer and almost always young teens.... gee i wonder why these people in specific are targetted /sarcasm
Plus people forget that how someone chooses to express themselves/spends their free time IS NONE OF THEIR BUSSINESS and does not affect their own personal life in the slightest!!! Just be respectful dude...
Point is people who purposefully make fun of others for the sake of being mean should be the ones shamed and not the person who just wants to enjoy their intrests!

Oxford Languages defines cringe as
"bend one's head and body in fear or in a servile manner."
"have an inward feeling of acute embarrassment or awkwardness."
