problem with our generation

The problem with our generation is not the fact that there is alot of lgbtq+ people, it's not the fact that people have mental issues, it's no the fact that we addres problems such as homophobia, racism, etc. Our generations problem is how lazy and addicted to the internet we are. How much we pay attention to stuff that dosen't matter irl but "matters" online such as neopronounce (personally i don't mind them) or a certain person being problematic 5 or 10 years ago (ofc i'm not talking abt predatory type of creators). WHat i mean is that so many people pay more attention to online creators sayin a controversial opinion rather than real life problems. We follow to many trends, we get "triggered" when someone says something slighlty bad. We look at other and immediently assume things. There is no good people, everyone has did or said some bad things so don't act like you are a saint. Acknowledge your mistakes, listen to other opinions, look at the news instead of getting everything of tik tok. Learn from others and learn from yourself.

I'm open to reading about your opinions so write them down in the comments (also not to trash on tik tok users cuz i am one of them)

I agree that social media is the main problems nowadays. full of unnecessary dramas, unnecessary hate, unnecessary stuff that doesn't even concern us.

lately, i've been using social media less than I used to and I find my life much more laid-back than usual since I don't give a damn about current trend or controversies that didn't even bother me.

I still used those social media like tik tok and instagram but i usually just scroll away when there's a random shit that doesn't even bother me (like politics, propaganda, etc.)

also, get a dope hobby. arts, guitars, making music, whatever other than scrolling social media.

yeah i deleted tik tok a year ago so I could be more productive because I became addicted, and I think I notice I'm a bit happier, too. Before, I would find myself scrolling endlessly in the void and i wondered why i always felt sluggish. This past year I've been getting back into the things i love such as reading, writing, going on runs and doing outdoor sports and i definitely feel as though I'm happier and have more energy. Yes, im not up to date on current celebrity drama or things that happen on the internet, but i think i prefer it that way! Its all useless drama that i didn't need. I kind of just rambled all to say, yes i agree with you lol

personally i'm lowering the time of how much i stay on tik tok daily cuz i like interacting with fandoms there! such as the edits and funny videos but i often get stcuk scrolling endlessly as you said.

yaaaa i was so sad to leave the fandoms i would interact with too!! it was a choice that was good for me but might not be good for everyone! I've just now realized the importance of spending more time outside (I sound so corny)
