Do y'all think what you believed in your current life affects your afterlife? Like say someone who believes in heaven and hell goes to a different afterlife than someone who believes in the Egyptian pantheon? Idk, I think different beliefs go to different afterlives. But that's just me. I just hope I don't go to a torturous afterlife. But I also don't know exactly what I believe. I do however believe there's a higher power. Idk just something to think about.

I agree with everything you just said. I've had talks with a few people of different religious backgrounds and everyone wants the same thing to end up somewhere where they are comfortable and feel protected by their higher power. I do believe in a higher self but not necessarily a higher power. I also agree that what you make of this life determines your next life or if you get to remain your higher self. There are certain lessons our higher self wants us to learn and experience and that's all life truly is an experience.

afterlife is something that will forever be a mystery for us as a human society. really the only thing you can do to not live a life full of anxiety wondering what will happen to you after your death is to just not think about it an let yourself find out as time passes. it sounds depressing but its true. i feel like hoping for a paradise in your afterlife is pointless, it just pressures me into living a life of worry. death is natural

I kind of just accept that there is no life after death—just eternal peace & tranquility broken from the chains of time that drive the world. I don’t see how my current life would influence my “life” after death because it doesn’t exist to me
