(thus far)
- Find the kind of writing that makes you happy. You like to write, you like to put stuff down, but it's difficult for you to sit down at a designated time and just write. You need to foster a habit; a healthy urge to produce thoughts in written form. This absolutely will benefit you. Bonus points if it's in Japanese.
- Speaking of, be
more consistent with your Japanese input/output. You are at a very good
stage, but now's the point to show up or shut up. You've got enough
vocab and grammar under your belt to feel confident with everyday text,
but you can't listen for shit, and you sure as hell can't hold a
conversation beyond 「今日はいい天気ですね」. This is going to take learning to look
your social anxiety in the face and laugh. Fucking sucks but
communication is your key to the outside word. Keep grinding 常用漢字.
- Learn to drive. You have to do it. This culture may be unkind to your motor transport apathy, but you're stuck in it for the time being, and you have people you care about relying on you. Driving will help you take yourself and them far.
- You wanna get buff, you have to not let things get in your way of your workout schedule. You've seen fantastic gains last year, but your fear of being perceived by others is holding you back. Bodyweight exercise is great, but if you want to see certain improvements you're going to need access to more equipment. Figure out a way to get to a gym regularly. Driving will help this one too
