a cozy new year’s day

today was a very cozy new years’ day. i spent most of the day today with my boyfriend, and we exchanged half of our christmas gifts to each other (since half of mine haven’t come in the mail yet, he said). i got him a golden dark souls bumper sticker and a hollow knight figurine, and he got me an aphex twin bumper sticker AND A BIG BEAUTIFUL SYLVEON PLUSHIE!!!!! it is a GORGEOUS plushie!!!! he taught me some music stuff, he played beautiful piano for me, and then we went to his relative’s house for some delicious delicious food!!!! i stuffed myself up with the yummy food and we played a long game of chess… THAT I TECHNICALLY WON… DESPITE WHAT HE SAYS!! ok so he forfeit and i was like “ok but i want it (the app) to say i won” so we kept playing and accidentally ended up drawing, BUT NOW HES ALL LIKE “you didnt accept the forfeit so we drawed” BUT HE IS SO GOOD AT CHESS LET ME HAVE THIS VICTORYYYY HAHAHA!!!! 

even losing a million times i find it so fun to play chess, especially with him :) well, i find it fun to do anything with him! and while he was looking at his phone at the dinner table, his beautiful brown curls in his hair just were so gorgeous to look at. he’s got such a soft pretty face and fluffy loving hair. i couldn’t stop grazing his head. he was so pretty i wanted to paint him there, but i didn’t ask to take his photo because i know he doesn’t really like getting photos taken of him, i can tell. he also had such a cozy knitted sweater on him that had such a wonderful texture, and the aqua color really complimented his warm skin color and just was the cherry on top! he is so pretty pretty pretty. and did you know he learned all of kanji N5 IN LESS THAN AN HOUR?!!?! he is SO SO SMART!!!!!! i love him so much!

tomorrow i go back to work… bleeehhh… but not really lol. the worst thing that happens at work is me getting sleepy or not finding any entertaining long youtube videos to watch while working. i absolutely love my job otherwise, all i do is pack things up and listen to youtube videos and vibe. i can break whenever i want and choose my own hours! it’s such a breath of fresh air. i’m gonna hate it when i have to inevitably downgrade to Real People Jobs whenever i move away or something. trust me, i cherish these moments while i still have them :) 

note to myself, i gotta do my new years resolutions!
