Let's talk CDs

So I'm hoping to get some CDs because I'm very bored of streaming services, as a lot of people are, so I would love to just get away. So with that being said, I was hoping to get a Sony Walkman portable CD player, Discman, or something like that. I say portable, because I already have a working home CD player. It's not HiFi or anything like that but it I'd like to have that at home and a portable one for when I go out.

I could probably get the CD player on eBay or at a thrift store, but for the CDs themselves, I'm not really sure since I think most retailers stopped selling them, much like DVDs and Blu-Rays. Like yeah, I can also get some on eBay or a thrift store, but if I'm not sure if they'd have the selection I want, and I don't think there are a lot of CD shops around here. A friend recommended me Half Price Books, but they don't have any in my state so I'd have to find somewhere else to look for CDs, at least without going into the city, and I do NOT want to go to the city.

So hopefully if any of you readers know of any advice to give me with this, that would be appreciated.

is this my sign to say fuck streaming services and do it??

I'm thinking of either putting CDs into a CD book and ripping them onto iTunes after I delete streaming services or playing the CDs in my car. Guess we'll see?

I hope you don't end up finding a VCD. Some DVD/Blu-ray players can Video CDs, but most of them can't.
