Music gatekeepers

In my opinion, I HATE people who gatekeep artist/bands as if their life depends on it. Especially people that do this stupid thing where they quiz someone based on the band/artist that they like to see if their a true fan or not, like I understand that there are fake fans that talk about an artist/band that they barley listen to any of their songs, but can we not try to interrogate people that only know a FEW or POPULAR songs from a band/ artist.
