Awful Things: My Latest Idea

After being pretty much out of ideas for months I came up with an idea for a superhero comic universe that is like if the X-Men were a bunch of goths and punks. I've given up on Hollywood cranking out any good superheroes movies or movies in general that peak my interest. So for the past 3 years I've been coming up with my own concepts that satisfy me until I decide its not the right time for them anymore. Anyway, a couple of months ago I came up with a superhero that is heavily and very obviously based on Frankenstein (or Frankenstein's Monster for all you literature warriors). His appearance is also heavily based on Frank Iero (specifically during revenge era with the black and white fauxhawk). 

He is immortal and can regenerate body parts/heal almost instantly. His mouth is stitched up and he communicates with the needles and stitches in his body to sew words into any part of his body. He can break his own bones and rip them out to use as a weapon. He's got a terrible mental state though and has constant nightmares/night terrors and has a terrible self image. If he sees a lot of white colored things he freaks out and sort of mentally shuts down. So his greatest weakness is his fragile mental state and low self esteem. His superhero name is Stitches and his regular name is Frank Shelley. He also has a love interest named Vivica Bride and she plays a huge part in his origin (which I will post in another blog) and his overall story. She's a weaker vampire (she's only been a vampire for a decade or two). She's best friends with the stitches guy because he found her not to long after she turned and offered to let her drink his blood so she doesn't have to kill anyone.

I also came up with this other superhero that can summon souls by using phantom chains to drag tortured souls from the afterlife and control them. He can also communicate with the dead like a medium. The only issue is that he can't reach souls that have moved on, are at peace, or in heaven. His goal is to be able to summon/communicate with those kinds of spirits. I almost forgot to mention this superhero that can phase through walls and other objects like a ghost. He also sometimes phases his hand through enemies to rip out organs or something like that. He probably would do that to stitches to take his bones and use them as a weapon. And finally the last character I'm gonna mention in this post is this Brit punk guy that basically has the same power as Diego from The Umbrella Academy. I was gonna make him a gunslinger because I thought that would be ironic considering the gun laws in the UK, but I decided against it. That'll be all you get to hear for now.
