Recently, I've decided that I will read more books. I attempted to find books I already own, but most are unreachable in my closet, packed in boxes, though I did find my mom's graduation scrapbook and spent some time viewing the contents. The ones I found were a graphic novel, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and Lipstick Apology by Jennifer Jabaley. My cousin gave the second book to me when I was younger; I remember reading it, but I'm interested in finishing it. Love triangles are boring. The book briefly reminded me of an incident where my mom found a book my cousin loaned to me. It was Fifty Shades of Gray. If I remember correctly, I was in elementary school.

I ordered a new book from Amazon, Heaven by Mieko Kawakami. Previously, I had looked into other books, mostly psychological and general horror. I was drawn to annotations, and after ordering supplies, I used my iPad to read Out by Natsuo Kirino where I tried my hand at annotating. I also read a few pages of A Little Life, which I started months ago. Then, I was inspired by a librarian named Mychal. His love for the library encouraged me to look into getting a library card. I found that I already own one; or better stated, my mom registered me into the system when I was a child. Until I walk to the library, I will continue to read my e-books.
