New Years Resolution

Mainly using this as a checklist for this year to see how much I get done this year.

Hobbies:

  • Continue making Kandi cuffs and bracelets
  • Start scrapbooking
  • Get back into diamond painting
  • Learn HTML to code my page

Life:

  • Get a psychological evaluation for ADHD 
  • Find a therapist ✅
  • Save $2500 ✅
  • Get a mattress topper for my bed (my back hurts so bad lol) ✅
  • Finishing my sleeve/getting other tattoos
  • Reading the book I got for Christmas (Legends and Lattes)

Things to look forward to this year:

  • 2yr anniversary with my partner <3
  • Hozier concert in April and May
  • Meeting my partners online friend at one of the concerts
  • One of my friends coming home from the military
  • 21st birthday !!
  • Roadtrip (destination undecided)
  • Arcane season 2
  • Seeing an old friend and their newborn baby

Things to try out:

  • Ice skating at least once (for partner lol)
  • Go to the gym with my partner
  • Different hair coloring techniques/colors (I always go back to blue)
  • Getting another piercing (most likely nose)


Life update #1 (May 8, 2024):

So I ended up finding my old therapist and I am currently seeing them which is great !! and I got a mattress topper which is one of the best purchases I've had this year. Unfortunately, my partner broke up with me about 2 months ago so that kind of kills half of my plans this year but that's okay because I'm making more plans with friends and family and spending time with coworkers too :)

  • Try Bartending/Mixology

  • Start making home made jewelry

Life:

  • Get a psych eval for ADHD
  • Finish my sleeve/get more tattoos
  • Finish the book I got for Christmas (Legends and Lattes)
  • Get back into Astrology/Witchcraft/Spirituality
  • Save $4,000

Things to look forward to this year:

  • 3 concerts !!! Avatar (in 3 days !!!), Hozier (7 days !!!), and Chappell Roan (in June; 21st birthday present to myself :) )
  • Promotion at work !!
  • 21st birthday !! Teaching myself how to make mixed drinks to serve at my party

Things to try out:

  • Clubbing ?? Going out to bars in general
  • Going to a Rave
  • Boxing lessons maybe ?? I feel like it would feel therapeutic to let out some pent up rage lol
  • Taking myself out on a me date (thrifting, pottery painting, etc.) I always feel anxious when I'm alone but I think stepping out of my comfort zone a bit will help me feel more confident
