It's 2024, Time for a Shake-up

Good evening, SpaceHey! I'm sharing this bit I wrote on my Tumblr so you all can see it too. Not sure how I'll use my blogs in the future, I suppose I'll write some on SpaceHey and some on Tumblr. Not sure what they'll be about, though. Time will tell.

New year, new me, I guess. I want to use Tumblr and SpaceHey as a blog to discuss how my content is progressing and what I'm up to behind the scenes. I'll be (hopefully) using my Tumblr a lot more, perhaps rebranding my Tumblr alt, and making more use of these two sites.

Two video changes to start the year:

Back in October, I said I would make a video talking about what playing Minecraft is like for a first-time player. In November, I said that I re-recorded this video because I didn't like how it turned out. Here I am, in January the next year, to tell you that I've scrapped both videos. As time has passed, I've realised that I don't like how these videos have turned out. As a result, I'm scrapping both. I get that I've now said twice that I wanted to make them to show people, which is why I might return to this video idea in the future, but for now, neither recording was enjoyable to re-watch.
I was working on a Hearts of Iron IV video which amounted to 10GB of data and 4 hours of footage, but as I've tried to get back into editing, I've realised how dull the video is. I don't particularly want to sit through four hours of footage, only to realise the video was a 9 of 10 flop.

I think it's worth acknowleding that if a video is boring for me to edit, it'll be boring for y'all to watch. Some of my best videos (the Overwatch/Blizzard critique, the Sapnap critique, the Windows 10 install) have all been well-edited pieces that I've enjoyed every stage of producing.

I'm going to focus my attention onto projects that I can tolerate working on, perhaps a Modern Warfare upload. I won't be making any new content for the next week, as I'm still waiting to meet with people and collect Christmas presents, so I want to hold back buying a better microphone until then.

I've just re-aranged my videos folder: two upcoming main channel videos and eleven potential second channel videos have been sitting on my drive for months, even years. I'll get them out (hopefully) this year!

So, TL;DR is that I've had to scrap a couple videos but in all the chaos, the second channel is getting a heap of content! Also, more Tumblr and SpaceHey posts in the future :3
