hello so i have a lot of thoughts and feelings especially recently cause ive realised im almost an adult and im scared of failing in litteraly life so im thinking i could just journal on here and mabye i will find some friends and get some good advice on things. so ive never really thought about my carrier throughout my life and now im at the age which i suppose i should think about the path i should take and like im at a photography and film major hs but ive been having second thoughts recently cause im scared of not succeeding in said major cause im afraid of failure and also im not sure i like it but i dont dislike it idk how to explain it, i feel like i can be creative and express myself but at the same time what if im not like creative enough and it just ends up beeing a boring movie/photo ,idk i think thats all :3

I've been there too.
imo, don't think about future just yet since it ain't happening anytime soon. what matters is what you do now and how your choices will affect your whole life.
plus, if you really want to succeed, then you must devoted yourself to doing something that you really LOVE. it's okay to be afraid and doubtful of yourself but don't let it get to ya for a long time. you gotta fight those thoughts by starting with doing something that will indefinitely contribute to your career, day by day.
just bcuz you're going to fail once, doesn't mean you're gonna fail forever. there's a tons of filmmakers out there who started with a decent movie with average rating but overtime, they ended up making bigger films that are even more successful.
I also like to believe that you are truly a creative person, so don't doubt yourself for future that isn't happening yet but instead, start crafting passionately and carefully.
in time, your career will be a success :)
