what if God is humanlike?

i'd like to start this entry off by saying that when i mention "God", i'm referencing any and all Gods from all religions.

this post is going to be short since it's just a random though that i had, but what if God is humanoid? what i mean is, maybe there is a true God but what if they have human desires and instincts? i thought about this when looking at some ants that were gathered at my bus stop. what if they worship us but instead of being humble and ethereal, sometimes we literally zap them from existence for pure entertainment?

i dunno, it's just something to think about especially when you look into different religions - imaging those Gods being similar to us is just very strange and a bit unreal.

speaking as a hellenic polytheist, yeah, it is an interesting thing to think about. i imagine the theoi aren't really bound to any specific form, so i'm assuming that they generally present themselves as humanoid when interacting with humans for the sake of convenience? much easier to communicate when you're adopting a similar form, i guess?
