SPACEHEY BASICS: YOU AND SPAMMERS

Oh dear, would you look at that! It seems Spacehey is having yet ANOTHER spammer raid.. this is surely cause for alarm! Panic in the streets, rioting must occur in order to stop such a horrible raid!

What if I told you that's NOT what had to happen? Instead, you can follow the Barkzeer guide to safely REPORTING, BLOCKING, AND IGNORING THEM!

Follow these easy steps and save yourself the hassle of spamming your bulletins and blogs about the raid EVERYONE can see, and instead take action and help contribute to keep Spacehey clean!

DON'T cause unnecessary panic by blogging about the issue! Making a blog about the issue is only giving the spammers attention, and making a blog about an issue everyone already knows about isn't helping to anything at all. Even if it's disturbing and sick, just keep it to yourself. Don't make a blog, nor a bulletin.

DON'T comment or interact with the spammer! The spammer is doing this for attention and shock value, and insulting them in the comments or making alt accounts named like "spammers are so stupid" is like throwing a rock at an ape, you might've hurt the monkey, if you did at all, but you've only pissed off the monkey more.

DON'T support them! That's like the easiest thing you can do.

NOW THAT WE'VE GONE OVER WHAT NOT TO DO, WHAT DO WE DO FROM HERE?

It's simple, and all it takes is a 3 step process, I like to call it RBI!

First step is to go onto the profile of the spammer, and as tempting as those comments may be, you don't need to go and comment away, you'll instead wanna find this little section right here!

Then, click on Report User. You'll be greeted with a new page, this will have a content ID (don't worry about this), an area to put your complaint, along with screenshots, and a captcha to verify you're a human. (Sorry, no bugs, dogs, cats, or other non humanoids.)

Once you've done all that, simply go back to the profile for step 2.

Now, you just went through a grueling tutorial, so here is the easiest part. All you have to do is go back to the profile, and go back to that section where you clicked on report. Now, click on the "Block User". You'll get a conformation that you would like to block to this user, and all you have to do is just click "Block User."
