grrr new years eve

my friend wants to spend new years eve together. what do i respond to that? no idea. like yes i love them, and it would likely be so much fun, but ive spent new years eve the same way with my family for as long as i can remember, and so im a little scared for change. i havent even asked if its even possiible yet so, maybe im worried for nothing, but idk. i havent seen them in a few weeks so id love to do smth together buuuuttt IDK. ill have to think abt this.
